Just a quick update, as I'm packing (or so I should be).
It was quite grim this morning due to cloud cover. And the wind still hasn't eased. In fact the headwind almost made me miss my train. Pitiful speed today.
Came home via an extended loop by Ufton Court. And as it was milder tonight, I'm finally starting to wear different layers on the ride home to the ride in. Finally. The clouds broke, and I even had sunshine for the last 5 miles or so.
So, Day 5 and 180 miles total so far. Still on target for the 1000 miles.
