Day 2 : 24.4 miles - Ecchinswell

6°C dry, SUNNY, windy.

I was working from home today, so decided to leave it until later to go for a spin. I prefer to plough through the work first and get out on the bike once it's done. Although today with the weather so beautiful, I was constantly looking out the window at the sunshine. I must have looked pretty pathetic like a dog pining to go out for a walk.

Eventually, I set off at 4pm for a 90 minute spin around Ecchinswell. The lanes are always quiet regardless of rush-hour. The weather was a massive improvement on yesterday with a near cloudless blue sky for the ride. It makes such a difference. To me anyway.

Ecchinswell is actually on the way to Watership Down, which I thought I'd leave for another day as I wanted to limit the ride to 90mins. The lanes are perfect for cycling; quiet, smooth and picturesque. Very twee.
