8C Misty & Sunny
It was misty when I woke (or when my alarm woke me to be precise), and it looked like it was gonna be a cool ride out there today. Way overdressed as it turned out, I set off for Freshwater along Military Road.
It's an 'A' road which I'd normally steer well clear of, but this is the Isle of Wight. Every road seems quiet.
The mist quickly burnt off and I was soon under blue skies again feeling the warmth of that sunshine. The road hugs the Southern coastline and you're treated to spectacular clifftop views.
Once at Freshwater, I stopped to watch the surf. There was little wind today, but there were plenty of decent waves being whipped up. Enough for a lone surfer to be out there enjoying it.
Its certainly getting warmer as the week goes on. And the sun finally feels like it has some strength at long last.
Great ride.
