Didn't get a chance to get out during the day today as I was too busy working from home, so I opted to go for an evening ride after dinner. So I set off with a full belly and headed for the Pang Valley. A beautiful place with quiet lanes which I tend to visit a lot. The colours were incredible tonight enhanced by the setting sun.
It's been so dry here for months that the ford is still dry. The river Pang at this point would normally be at least 2ft deep, so I've been getting used to blindly taking the tarmac route over the ford instead of taking to the footbridge. No doubt I'll be in auto-pilot on a ride one day and I'll get caught out when it eventually flows with water again.
The distant rain that didn't get me. I like distant rain.
Oh, and no indigestion to report.
