Two rides today.
First 25mile ride was early in the day. I wanted to leave MrsGreyPea to her marking and popped out for 90 minutes immediately after breakfast. The temperature was perfect. Sunny, blue skies and warm air. Although those bloody black flies were swarming all along the river Pang. Saw a load of individual cyclists out and about. And a posh couple taking photos of each other on a horse near the ford sign. Odd behaviour.
The second 12 mile ride was late in the afternoon with the family. We needed to get the boys some fresh air, so a ride was the obvious choice again.
The boys fancied a flatter route, so we rode out to Aldermaston Wharf and even had a cake stop. I reckon we spent longer at the Cafe than actually on the bikes. But that's not important. The important thing is that we all enjoyed it. And we did. Perfect weather again.
