Day 21 : 24.4 miles - Bethlehem

Lovely late afternoon solo ride along the Towy river valley. Headed through Llangadog and decided to try to find Bethlehem that I'd seen signposted previously. The hills over that way reminded me of Devonshire countryside. Lots of very steep short climbs with short drops. Very tricky to get any rhythm going.

The temperature was perfect just like every other night over the past week. We've been so lucky with the weather. Beautiful views over the valley and arrived in the village of Bethlehem for a quick photo opportunity.

I met with a couple on horseback. Something we see frequently along the Berkshire lanes but not such a common sight here.

I then headed back towards Llandovery up the final long slog and back to the farm. Tried to keep the pace up tonight as I knew it was a short ride.

Hopefully get up the Black Mountain again for one last climb tomorrow.
